Flag Football Information

LJTF is pleased to be able to offer flag football this fall for rising K-2nd grade.  Registration will close on 8/16; however we are limiting players for this league so please sign up as soon as possible. Cost is $75.  This includes a jersey and a t-shirt.    All practices and games will take place on Saturdays at LHS.  The format will be practice from 9-10:00 am with games immediately following from 10-11:00 am.  Practices will start on 8/17.   We will need coaches for these teams as well!  Please contact Jill Ferguson at 678-409-8778 for further info!

Even though the $50 off ends 6/1, there is another way to help pay for your registration. We are offering a $50 "refund" for players that refer new players to the program. When the new player registers, there is a place to select "New Player" and "Referred By." If your name is entered, you will get $50 refunded to you on September 1, 2019. The "new" player is anyone who has not played within the last year for Lassiter Jr. Football. This referral program is open to all grades, rising K-8th. Bring all your friends and pay for your registration!

There is no limit on how many players you can refer!

Lassiter Football will be offering summer workouts at NO COST to players! Workouts will be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-10:00 at LHS in the weight room/track for rising 5-8th grades. Workouts will be held for six weeks this summer (6/4-7/25) No workouts the week of 6/23 and 7/1. You do NOT have to be registered yet to play, so please invite your friends that might be debating playing this year.

Ray Zingler and Head Varsity Coach Sean Thom will be assisting with these workouts. Ray Zingler is a former LHS grad and football player. He has been working with students and athletes in the Lassiter community since 2010. He will be focusing on the basics and fundamentals of strength and conditioning via age appropriate programming to help better prepare them for middle school and high school sports.
Also, to note, Ray wanted to add that for any athletes that have schedule conflicts or for those interested in supplemental training, he offers many training options at his private facility. He offers 1-on-1 and group training options for middle and high school school students, both male and female.
For any questions or inquiries regarding any of the summer training programs at the high school or with Ray personally, feel free to shoot him an email:

Volunteer Information 2019

Please keep in mind that our whole program is run by volunteers and it takes all of us to do our part to make it a successful and enjoyable experience for the players and families!

All families are required to complete 3 volunteer shifts per player in the LJTF program.  Families of coaches, team mom, team dad and season long announcer will be the only ones exempt from these requirements.  All families have the choice of opting out of their volunteer shifts.  The opt-out fee is $200 per player.  If for any reason you are unable to fulfill the volunteer requirement during the season, the $200 volunteer deposit check will be cashed at the end of season.

Volunteer shifts will be available for all of our home games and each shift will be approximately 2-2 ½ hours. We will have volunteer opportunities in Concessions, Spirit Wear Sales and Front Gate.

There are few glitches to work out as we get our CFL families in the NGIN database.  This is where the DIBS system is located and is where you will find and claim you volunteer shifts. I will explain this more in a follow up email when the site goes live and is ready for you all to claim your shifts. Please note that all shifts must be claimed and carried out by an adult 18 years or older.

We look forward to a great football season and thank you so much in advance for your assistance.

What Does My Registration Pay For?
